2021 Domaine Rougeot Volnay Santenots, Volnay Premier Cru Sans Soufre , France Entre Pedras Sumoll planted back in 1939Volnay Santenots is technically located in the village of Meursault, though vignerons discovered long ago that there is a larger demand for Volnay than Meursault Rouge, and therefore wisely arranged to label reds from their northernmost vineyards as Volnay. This is Rougeot's most structured, powerhouse of a wine that will age gracefully for decades.
