Isabelle and Jean-Yves Vantey founded their small winery in Sampigny-Lès-Maranges in 1998 with one hectare of Maranges vineyards

then complete their second fermentation in bottle and rest on lees for roughly a year before disgorgement

This is the only red wine from 2022 that I feel ok with releasing right now

It was then pressed directly into neutral French Oak barrels and aged for 18 months without racking or stirring before being racked to tank for bottling
