Ancient Roman Glass Beads, 11 Beads stone carving and colors (some a delicateGroup of 11 rare ancient Roman glass beads traded in Mali, West Africa. These are about 2,000 years old, made in Italy, excavated in Djenne, Mali. Center bead is a rare blue glass with center stripe and 6 "eyes", 14mm diameter with 3mm hole. Small blue and white Roman glass disc beads frame the center bead along with 2 14mm plain blue glass spaced with small beads, 3 5mm. Calcification on the small beads. One of a kind!
