This ad features the Triple Action Revolver. The company was founded in 1868 by Samuel S. Hopkins, Charles W. Hopkins, Charles W. Allen and Charles A. Converse. Converse sold his 50% share of the company in 1874, to William and Milan Hulbert; however, the Hulbert brothers went bankrupt in 1896, and Hopkins and Allen followed suit in 1898.
