This is a very nice flight helmet, which was exactly what Aviators of the U. S. Navy Marine Corps used during WWII. The helmet is a very nice khaki tan canvas "summer weight" style, and has a nice chamois lined "visor" and ear cups. The chin strap is still intact and in good condition. It still has the original maker label at the rear: SIZE SMALLCONTRACT No. N288s 20505SLOTE & KLEIN, INC. Slote & Klein made many
