Mid 19th century punch paper embroidery hand stitched to pale silk ribbon, with some toning and stains that seem perfectly suited to that nature of hope itself. Overall 6" x 1 1 2". Embroidery itself 2 3 4" x 1 1 4". Stable and sound, ribbon not brittle. Found in Massachusetts.
