Carved Antique Wooden Boot u shaped Vytacil co-founded the American AbstractWhen I first spotted this wonderful little carved wooden boot I guessed it was a snuff box, as most I have in this style contain an interior compartment usually concealed by a sliding top for stashing snuff (ground tobacco, for snorting.) But this refined little boot seems simply to be what it is just a charming carved object, which I'd guess dates to the mid 19th century or so.
