1862 $5 State of Georgia (Civil War Issue) Cr. 5 ~ Very Fine Details FR.1880B (For anyone reading from theOctagonal portrait of James Oglethorpe at center. Red protector panel over FIVE DOLLARS. Black treasury seal on the reverse. January 15th, 1862. This note has a nick on the top obverse margin and the J in the signature ink has burned through the paper about 3 4 of an inch. Paper is strong & crisp and the note is bright.
