This is a scarce example of the classic Great War Imperial German Field Cap (Feldmtze or Krtzche). It is a very late war example, made of course, cellulose (wood pulp) rich, ersatz Feldgrau wool. It is a Bavarian Model constructed solely of of grey green "Feldgrau" wool, omitting the red band and trim, with an interior off white linen lining.
