but rather as great focus and ambition

As evident there is much wear and staining to the card

and so was thrilled to recently find a bunch of them

What makes it for me of course is this hand-painted bird on green leafy branch

Chocolate, c. 1910s Etched Glass Soda Fountain Syrup Bottle antique reading book and with a reverse sideI found this one in Maine, and believe it is an old soda fountain bottle, which would have been filled with chocolate syrup, with what I believe is the original, probably silver plated jigger cap still sitting atop it. For me (including as a chocolate lover) it makes an excellent found object of sorts, embodying nothing less than pure desire! And of course it would be great on the bar now, filled with the makings of, say a chocolate martini. 11" t x 3
