With a smokey intensity akin to the nature of peat, Alips San Juan Del Rio is defined by its structural vegetal quality. On the nose this mezcal is full of smoke. The palate is fruit laden, very agave forward, with just a hint of brine. The finish is intensely smoky with a viscous mouth feel.
