Set up in 1820 by THE Joan Danguera and growing through the generations to enable 7th generation sons, Josep and Joan to take the reins in 2000. Since then they have worked (and succeeded) to turn the winery in a more organic and biodynamic direction. They turned away from the old style Spanish reds that would knock your socks off with a big wallop
