and with just a little craquelure in the sky and a bit of minor warping to the board

especially for one's favorite sailor

I find the relationship between the form of the turned handle and the tapered bristles at the other end of this brush super satisfying

with just a bit of darkening and bumping around the edges

(which I believe dates this set to 1965 and surely there's a story there!) Looking at things like this makes me want to write a story or
