This is a scarce overseas style cap for the Italian Fascist Youth, otherwise known as the Giovent Italiana del Littorio (GIL). The cap is all suede style black with a bullion cap badge to the front for the GIL, depicting the fasces with a shield, knife, and axe. This example was captured by an American soldier who covered it in a variety of Italian GIL badges, medal ribbons, Italian buttons, chevrons, and more, with
