Description

I think this old catcher's mitt is such a gorgeous sculptural object

During his time at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago

A similar evolution marks his surfaces—from unpainted early carvings in the late 1960s to the introduction of paint

the book was first published in 1952

such that it could also easily be removed from the wall--pretty handy

Clinging to the Top, Old Snapshot Photo of Tower Climber lovely teapot I think this old catcher'sI love the way the man at the top of this rather make shift feeling tower clings to its post and gazing upward as if his climbing was not done for the sake of conquering the tower, but rather for the sake of getting closer to the heavens! Nice, too, that the tower topper extends beyond the top edge of the frame. 4 1 4" x 3 1 4" and in good condition, clearly removed from an album, with residue on the reverse.
