I am not sure if the slide-top box I found them in was made custom for them

but it certainly seems to have a good amount of age

perhaps including smoked mackerel

but in any event think this is a pretty singular thing

perhaps the man with moving arms most of all

Pink and Yellow Bird with Flowers and Perched Owl, PA Naive Drawing c. 1900 woman with braids I am not sure ifI found this drawing in Pennsylvania tucked inside a school notebook, c. 1900 or so. Just a joyful thing, this pink bird with yellow wings, worm in its beak and flowers of all sorts springing forth around it. And a little owl perched on one stalk too. PA for sure, graphite and crayon on lined notebook paper. 6 7 8" x 8 3 8". Very good condition. Paper is a bit brittle.
