After the Great War these helmets were sold to the Finnish Army and used by the Finns through WW2 the Winter War

It dawned upon Aeck and the rest of the 1st Battalion that the next few days aboard may well be their final days on earth

Most of these Model 1774 flintlocks were converted in the 1840s to percussion system and even they are relatively hard to find today

The serial number is 269724B denotes the year of manufacture as 1880
