Very Old Carved Boot with Iron Nails, Presumed Pipe Tamper folk art wooden doorstop with great graphics(Hard to photograph because that black paint absorbs all the light so I set it atop a block, which maybe helps a bit.) I believe this is quite an early carved boot American I believe, and earlyish 19th c. I would guess and I believe it was meant to function as a pipe tamper. I really love the form, very folky and a little awkward, but also with this great high heel. And I especially love the old iron nails that run both down the front and around the
