The mark struck on the breech of the barrel of this carbine should almost certainly be attributed either to the gun-maker Georg Zellner working in Zell am Wallersee

This is a fantastic unopened WWII D Ration which has been wrapped and sealed in plastic to keep the contents safe

The tunic also has a “buttonhole” ribbon for a 2nd Class War Merit Cross and is nicely hand stitched to the uniform in the correct fashion and location

and also is marked on the barrel with EDB 1889
