which of course makes it feel all the more precious to me

Old Make Do Ice Fishing Decoy vintage puzzle 3/8" at widestI love an old folk art ice fishing decoy and even better a decidedly make do one and this one especially for distilling down to its essence what an ice fishing decoy wants to be. Two pieces of cut tin for the front fins, one more for the tail, with just enough painted color to impart it with the powers of seduction! Plus a lead weight on the underside to allow it to sink. I believe the body was a post of some kind, whittled to taper at the tail end,
