There is a light crease to the bottom right corner

The white details of the face (including smiling mouth) mane and tale were hand-painted on top of a layer of brown paint

7" long with a diameter of 1 5/8"

is in excellent condition and measures 9 3/4" long x 2 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" tall

1838 Blank Ledger with Hand-Marbled Cover and Leather Spine piecework 11 1/2" wide x 8I love the idea of writing in a notebook that was started almost 200 years ago with a header dated 1838 but never filled. waiting all this time for someone to launch in with something to say! It looks as though a few pages were torn out at the back but is near complete and completely empty, with gorgeous hand marbled covers and leather spine and corners. A perfect gift to oneself, I'd say, perhaps to be started on December 15, as its previous owner
