A. group have roots in short lived scuzz rock band Spinout, who released one record in 1991 and then morphed into Acetone. Between 1993 and 2001, the trio released a string of cult LPs on Virgin sublabel Vernon Yard and Neil Youngs Vapor imprint, but their psych & surf influenced sound failed to make any major waves under the looming shadow of Seattle grunge that was sweeping the nation.
