This is a very nice WWII German National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei NSDAP) Flag Pole Finial or Topper (Fahnenstange Endstck) Eagle. This looks to be a transitional type between the first and second pattern. It is multi piece construction, but made from cast or injection molded aluminum. It no longer has the socket and fittings to attach it to the pole, which is
