it works summer to winter and with everything--I think it would be the perfect piece to wear with jeans and a t-shirt while throwing a pot or with a breezy linen dress to a farm-to-table dinner

but there are not many of her drawings accessible and I am by no means certain

with wonderful attention and a certain committed precision given to each tree

It measures 3 3/4" x 4" in diameter

6 7/8" l x 3 5/8" w x 1 1/2" d with an iron blade and nice patina of use

This is one of a few small masterpieces by Laverne Lovell I brought home from Brimfield, one other listed today. Pure joy. 9 1 8" x 6". Good condition, with some toning along left and top edge as evident. Black reverse (i forgot to photograph.) C. 1940s or so I believe.
