The Klur family has worked the land around Katzenthal since the 17th century but while they produce classic Alsace wines they are not hidebound by history

so the grapes destined for Anna's Palmento Rosso (another one of our faves) and the Jeudi 15 Rosato were blended with a smidge of one of their white wines made from old bush vines of indigenous Etnaen white grapes

Quality is absolutely second to none

clean air and plenty of breeze which all adds up to a great environment to grow organically

Post fermentation it is kept in French oak barrels for around seventeen months
