This is a very interesting Yataghan bayonet that we are having some trouble narrowing down to an exact model. It is similar to the Model 1842 Saber Bayonet, the Mississippi Rifle bayonet, and the Type II M1855 bayonet, but none are exact. Some information online showed it could be a Brazilian or US export but no one could identify it with full confidence. So it is being sold as is. The blade is in great condition,
