This is a wonderful example of the classic Japanese Type 90 Tetsubo ( "steel cap") helmet, also colloquially called the tetsukabuto ( "steel helmet") by Japanese troops. Features include: Original partial yellow SNLF insignia painted on front, which was scratched off leaving the black outline (possibly done by the original wearer in an effort to camouflage the insignia). Excellent complete Chinstrap Assembly.
