Original Japanese WWII Japanese Type 90 Civil Defense Helmet MP 40 NY manufactured this WWII M2-2Original Item: Only One Available. A very interesting example of a WWII Civil Defense helmet. It is the final of four variations of the Type 90 Army helmet and was designed specifically for mainland civil defense. Correct brown paint in very good condition with one dent to the top. Inside is a woven wool liner and three hand painted katakana symbols: SHI MA DA. Which translates to "Fukueki suru" which is a personal creed of the soldier who owned it.
