Commonly referred to as a War Log, this example was recently acquired from a private collection of Civil War artifacts. The most unique feature of this cut section is that it appears to have been a part of an early 20th century museum display (possibly from the Danner Museum) and still retains the numbered inventory tag as well as a tag identifying the location in which it was found, Culps Hill, Gettysburg.
