I really love the slab-cut circles and lozenge-shapes that give a great texture and interest to the surface of this hand-thrown pottery vase--especially for the fact that they are not entirely regular

the drawing among them

which shows a unique error in coloration--the red is much darker than the rest--but was kept  in the deck anyway

This looks to me like three generations of a family, perhaps extended, to whom this bar belongs, and who in turn belong to it.
