Smoking Moon Man with Stars, Earlyish 20th Century Chocolate Egg Mold (One Half) brushing hair one of six anthologies KepesJust my kind of Easter egg, this a pressed tin chocolate mold with smiling, pipe smoking, star flanked crescent moon man, c. 1920s or so I believe. A nice little object, which could be hung on the wall or used again to press the visage of moon man into chocolate, or play doh, or whatever! 3 5 8" x 2 5 8" x 1 1 8" d. Good condition, nice patina to the surface of the tin. One piece only; I presume it once had another half.
