This is a type of dagger that we have not really had before. We have had a fair share of Greek antique firearms, but not any edged weapons from the northern Mediterranean area. The dagger is of a somewhat strange design, encompassing a very wide grip to the rear, which angles in toward the blade. Definitely a design with Middle Eastern influence. The grip scales are of black lacquered horn and the tang is contained
