Aviation History: Hoxsey, Johnstone, Latham, and Aeroplane Sheds, Four Wonderfully Annotated Pre-1910 Snapshots unicorn The piece is signed LukeI know little to nothing about aviation history, but was really struck by these, which, with their evocative handwritten annotations (hard to tell but it looks to me as if scratched onto the negative before printing) for me capture quite a feeling of adventure and excitement about the early days of flight. And the names here are notable ones: (Archibald) Hoxsey (American, worked for the Wright Brothers, first pilot to fly at night); (Ralph) Johnstone
