the glass is missing

which I purchased from a dealer at a flea market who said they had come from an estate he had just cleaned out in Maine (and from which he also had some old crocks and 19th century photographs

making it easy to hang

Diamond Shaped Antique Wooden Frame with Inlay Details footless man A few months ago IJust a sweet little antique handmade frame, perfectly imperfect, with an interesting shape and wonderful scalloped edges. There is a tiny hole near the top for stringing a thread through to hang it, or I think it could also make a pretty terrific little hand mirror. There is no inset on the back, so a picture or mirror would need to be adhered directly to the frame. There are some scattered small dark spots on the wood and a couple of hairline splits
