though they could be hand-painted--are a bit subtle against the dark wood

There are a few small dings in the dark wood frame which seems fitting

to which is attached just along one edge

prior to merging in 1897 to become Blake and Knowles and moving to East Cambridge

For me, there's quite a lonely feeling to that hand painted sign propped up in the snow and surrounded by fallen limbs, with this Border Collie (right?) looking on, as if contemplating its own fate. 5" x 7" and in good condition. Vintage print on matte paper.
