I've come across a few of these little Mexican wire bullfighting figures over the years

and a little rusting along the edges

with light postmark waves along the left side center

and I imagine made for a very specific purpose

It's for sure a beautiful thing

And with crosshatching carved into his chest on one side. Original string, and works great, with a squeeze to the posts at the bottom sending him flipping and flying around. 9 1 8 t x 2 1 2 w x 7 8 d. Excellent condition. Earlyish 20th c. I believe.
