SOLD Fabulous Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Box with Painted Lion (One Hinge Loose) swampscott which I've been pretty excitedI know this box was found in Allentown, PA and it sure seems Pennsylvania folk art to me, with a fraktur esque quality to this fantastic lion (with marvelously wild, expressive face that keeps reminding me of a rooster, too!) Late 19th c. or so I would guess, with a terrific surface best appreciated through detail photos yum.
