Victorian Treen Shoe with Nail and Pin Prick Dedication French words but I am not 100%Another lovely treen shoe, this one made not as a snuff box but perhaps as a pin cushion, though if so all traces of that are long gone or maybe just as a love token of sorts, as there is a dedication on the sole, spelled out in pin pricked holes. I love the blue paint against the varnished wood, and of course all of those little nails giving pattern to the toe and sides, and especially the larger nails marching up the front, the tails of which one
