A very nice named U. S. Model 1860 Staff and Field Officer sword marker marked by WM Read & Sons Boston Mass. Approximate 30" long blade, with a fine leather ray skin grip with brass wire warp and excellent patina to the brass knuckle guard, cross guard, and pommel. Overall this sword is in very nice condition with a bright nickel blade. Shows some wear on scabbard. However, the best aspect is that this sword is named to
