Beautiful Vintage Nazca Lines Incised Stone antique teaching tool I purchased this old brass

I purchased this old brass boot at an estate sale at the family home of the former Plant Engineer at The United Shoe Machinery Company in Beverly

Hand-carved and quite old I think

8 1/2" t x 4 w x 2 1/4" deep

I like to imagine its carver made it for a child or grandchild

and the two potted plants to either side of her

I believe the incised eight legged creature is based on ancient Nazca Lines a group of geoglyphs created between 500 BC and 500 AD in the soil of the Nazca Desert in southern Peru. This came from the estate of a collector who travelled extensively in Central and South America and I'm guessing picked it up as a souvenir of sorts somewhere not ancient,
