I don't know its origins and while it has some age I am  not sure especially old

I'm thinking this very sweet cigar box on wheels might have been made by a parent or grandparent long ago as part of a traveling circus set

which seems like it could have been inspired by the work of Paul Klee (see Park bei Lu 1938

A close kinship between them and carved and jointed wooden dolls otherwise, as of course dolls should be able to move! I don't believe this pair, pulled from the same estate, are particularly old, likely later 20th century. Pretty
