They started Partida Creus in 2001 after struggling to find quality natural wine in the area. Unlike many producers nearby planting mainstream varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Massimo and Antonella took a chance on small parcels of relatively unknown old vines of regional varieties such as Sumo, Garrut,
