The fuse assembly is not marked but it is a Point Detonating type which we believe to be a PD M524

They were originally issued with standard paint finishes

The guard is partially filigreed with engraved embellishments on some of the relief areas of the casting work

The most obvious difference is the fact that the flash pan is in fact detachable

The front of the helmet still has its original French "Flaming Bomb" Crossed Cannons badge. The badge has the standard R F on the "bomb", for Republique Francaise.
