C.M Mallory Victor Rug Stretcher, Patent 1889 curated shop Bottom half is 5 1/2"Just a cool old object, and a very sharp one; one could do some damage with this. Made by CM Mallory of Albion, NY, with a 1889 patent date, it's a tool that would have been used for stretching rugs as they were being installed. (The sharp pins would grip the rug as one worked to pull it into place.) I'd just hang it on the wall from the handy hook at top perhaps on the outside of a door as a means of saying Do Not Enter! 9 1 8" x 5 1 2" x 1". Nicely
