I'd think a spice box--the space inside is not very large

I found this Mexican folk art donkey candleholder along with a lion

This one is marked "Extra Fine Pure Bristles Sterilized" but with nothing else

Dimensions: 4 3/4" l x 4 1/2" t x 1 1/4" w

I am fairly certain is Navajo based on other examples out there of similarly constructed and painted owls and other animals

Rare, Unusual Early Rubber Alphabet Blocks party ware I'd think a spice box--theI think these are way cool, and great looking, and I have never seen, and can't find, another set like them. They're made of rubber, which is pretty firm but a little squishy too, with embossed letters and numbers on all sides. I love the bleed on the green especially, and the crusty surface of the rubber all over and they sit in a great old box holder made of wood from old crates, joined with fat nails and I'm sure made for them long ago.
