and the front is faintly drawn/tooled with a very risqué depiction of a naked woman in the classic pinup style

Here we have a very interesting early British Percussion Dragoon pistol, which we believe was introduced around 1840, though it does not quite match up to the patterns we have seen. It has the correct shaped lobed butt cap and characteristic side plate, however the bore is extremely large at 0. 75". We feel it may have used an EIC musket barrel, and it is possible that it was assembled from parts in India or another
