This makes perfect sense once you know that three large old walnut trees stand right beside the vineyard rows, and that Koppitsch is located less than 20 kilometers from the Hungarian border crossing at Nickelsdorf. In the shade of these three walnut trees grow the grapes for Di: Chardonnay on the one hand and Welschriesling on the
