An Order of Isabella the Catholic, Grand Cross by Lemaitre, c.1900 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac extremely fine/mint condition(Orden de Isabel la Catlica). Instituted March 24, 1815. A Grand Cross, in silver, presenting a four point cross of red enamelled arms with large ball finials, between each arm sits a cluster of seven smooth rays, the obverse medallion in Gold, features the hand painted insignia of the order, surrounded by a green enamelled wreath with a white enamel banner inscribed A LA LEALTAD ACRISOLADA POR ISABEL LA CATOLICA (To Pure Loyalty, For Isabel the
