Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s Overseas Cap, Italian Manufacture, By Berven Auction 14 (Width) x 48(Waffen SS Schiffchen). A Waffen SS EM NCOs overseas field cap, constructed of field grey wool twill. It is fully surrounded by gently curved fold down side panels. Both the peak and front of the panel retain remnants of black stitching where insignia were removed from the cap. The interior is fully encompassed by a grey herringbone rayon twill liner, which bears a black ink makers mark of BERVEN, PADOVA for Berrettificio Veneto of Padua, above a size
