Of local manufacture, a hollow star in blackened bronze, with rayed arms consisting of three wide pointed ends alternating another three sharp pointed ends, obverse centre in silver inscribing Arabic lettering, surrounding time of period Afghanistans coat of arms, reverse with diagonal pin assembly and catch, measuring 71. 22 mm (w) x 69. 88 mm (h), presenting strong oxidation
